“The Role of Technology in the 21^st Century Education”

Creating accessible tool in education -technology- is one of the factors which contributes to the uplift with regards to the quality and standard of teaching and learning method . This technology has evolved for special purposes and assessed the 21^st century education.

Today’s modern age demands how education should be structured to meet the needs of the learners of 21^st century. In schools, the system is already associated with real-life application of technologies for the students to deal with and exposed themselves to actual-life problems and various issues gradually emerging in the society.

Educators and schools have embraced technology and use it to enhance the learning experience.  The use and integration of recent technology tools in their learning curriculum is a better preparation for their students to attain higher education.

Teachers need to nurture the student's interest in a certain subject  by presenting how this knowledge from technology  should be applied in the real world. They are also to heighten student’s curiosity for them to become productive learners. To make the learning continually applicable outside of school, teachers should be flexible the way they teach.

Next, administrators are more equipped for them to properly educate, as a result, students are more eager to learn.

Students have acquired many skills that lead them to their success. These skills include the ability to collaborate, critical thinking skills, oral presentation skills, written communication skills, ability to use technology, willingness to examine civic and global issues, ability to conduct research to learn about issues and concepts and the chance to learn about new career opportunities.

Since, students of 21^st century  have created new knowledge and acquired great literacy from the new research-based environment, they become more globally competent among all individuals .
